Ms Tandra is from Maryland and has two daughters of her own, one is an adult and a teenager. She has cared for infants, toddlers, and youth for 26 years. Also has extensive experience working in the medical field. Her background for caring for children started when she was a teenager. She cared for her nephew and niece, being a babysitter to several of her friends children, andfamily members as she got a little older. Furthermore, Ms Tandra received her 90 hours in child development while working in a daycare center as a teacher for 9 1/2 years. In 2017, she decided to become a nanny and was with a wonderful family for 2 years. Ms Tandra's gift and passion is caring for children and helping their parents get the quality time they desire. She is a kind and responsible person and enjoys being a mentor.
What she loves the most about working with children is watching them grow, they make me laugh, and they teach me something new everyday.
Ms. Talisha, has been in the child care field for 17 years, she attended Mergenthaler Vocational Technical Senior High School, her trade while in high school was childcare that she studied for 3 years and graduated with her 90 hour clock certification in Early Childhood Education. Being with children and working with them is her passion. Knowing that she can make a difference in their lives and making them smile warms her heart. I have worked with all age groups from infant to 16 years of age. I have experience working with children who have Autism and other developmental delays, working in a school setting or home based. I enjoy doing arts and crafts, coloring and doing experiments with the children.
I have two children of my own a 15 year old son and a 7 year old daughter, they are my world. They keep me going and motivate me every day to be the best version myself. In 2018 I graduated from Strayer University with my Associates Degree in Business Administration. I am currently in school to get my Bachelors Degree in Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis. Continuing my education is important to me, learning different ways to approach and care for them and providing them the best care possible is my mission.
Ms Isabella has been babysitting professionally for the last five years but has babysat siblings and cousins since she was five years old. She is currently nannying for a one year old little boy. She enjoys working with children of all ages but especially enjoy ages 2 and under. Ms Isabella enjoys how everyday children are learning something new and we get to help them see the world. She is in school to obtain her degree in early childhood education. She loves to come up with different crafts and activities for the kids to do that pertain to their interests.
Ms Jaela has worked in childcare for 9 years. She is passionate about education and creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. While working within daycare centers, she realized that not only does she have a passion for working with children, but also has a gift for working with children that have what some would consider developmental challenges or delays. She has patience and willingness to get creative that contributes to that gift. Being open-minded and understanding that everyone doesn’t learn the same, but that everyone is capable of learning is key! Ms jaela loves working with infants, but also enjoys working with the older children as well. ! During the pandemic, she became an independent child care provider servicing families in their homes. During that time she provided child care and education services for children as young as infants up to 5 years old. This has been a really enjoyable experience for her to work closely with parents and provide my clients (the children) with one-on-one care in the areas of education and social development. She truly enjoys watching the smiles on their faces when they accomplish tasks and witnessing their excitement as they learn new things. While she enjoys working directly with children and teaching them new things, in the near future she will be adding children’s book authors to the list of things she enjoys. Following in the footsteps of both her mother and grandmother she became a cheerleader and eventually coached cheerleading for the Greenbelt Boys & Girls Club. She had an amazing experience as a coach that brought out her love for children and her natural teaching abilities. Following high school, ms Jaela went to Prince George’s Community College where she received my CDA. She plans to go back to college to study writing and communications. Outside of work and school she enjoy traveling, photography, and writing children's books. She looks forward to working with your family and creating a bond with your children!
